How often should you wash your hair?
Some girls do it every day, some once a week, some…even less. It’s often a personal preference, although there’s always debate around it. So, once and for all; how often should you wash your hair? Really though, how often?
The general consensus is washing your hair too often can do more harm than good, stripping tresses of their natural oils and shine and irritating your scalp. Plus, those who wash their hair more, tend to style it more, potentially causing further damage. However, the real answer to how often should you wash your hair lies in your hair type. Fine hair does have the tendency to get oily a lot faster due the fact it doesn’t hold much volume (and you probably tend to touch it a lot attempting to tszuj it up.) Although it can be tempting, we don’t recommend washing your hair every day, every other day should be more than sufficient (if you can cut it down to 3 times per week, you should.) Especially if you use the right products. Look for something that’s lightly conditioning and apply conditioner only to the very ends to keep your roots from getting weighed down.

Thick Straight Hair
For those lucky ladies with thicker, coarser tresses a blow-dry could last for days (or even up to a week- we’re guilty of it!) Washing your every other day should be the absolute most, but you should really only be washing it once every 3 days. Often those with this type of hair find the less they wash their hair, the less they need to.
Not only do they look fabulous, curls also prevent oils from your scalp travelling as quickly down your hair strands. So you only need to wash your hair twice a week, (even less if you can) making sure to use heavily-moisturising products.
