Grow Gorgeous pick our Golden Globes winners

It’s awards season and this means only one thing at Grow Gorgeous HQ; a whole lot of hair envy coming from the red carpet. The Golden Globes was the first ceremony of the season and took place last weekend. Stars such as Natalie Portman, Lily Collins and Emma Stone, who scooped Best Actress for her part in “La La Land” all made their mark among a crowd of the world’s most famous faces with graceful dresses and dazzling jewels and of course, inspirational hairstyles.

We thought we’d have some fun of our own with the Grow Gorgeous Golden Globes – our winners from the night for their gorgeous hairstyles. When you’re walking a red carpet and all the world’s cameras are pointing at you, you don’t want a single hair out of place.

The big debate before you walk a red carpet is to up-do or let your luscious locks flow? We applaud the gorgeous celebrities who can pull off both looks but we do have our favourites from the two categories.

Grow Gorgeous Golden Globe award for Best Updo. And the winner is… Olivia Culpo.

Olivia Culpo shows you how to use your gorgeous hair as an accessory in its own right. With beautiful and intricate braids fashioned into a chic, voluminous low bun, this hair style speaks for itself. It’s a modern twist on a classic updo and we love how Olivia has dared to wear her hair super sleek on top for an impossibly glossy finish and the volume and detail of the low bun stands up against her colourful gown.

Grow Gorgeous Golden Globe award for Best Hollywood Curls. And the winner is… Brie Larson.

Those classic Hollywood curls are an icon themselves when it comes to red carpet looks. Gorgeous long length sweeping over one shoulder with a seductive ripple in the hair is simply beautiful and always works. We love how Brie Larson has stuck true to this iconic look with polished waves and a deep and sleek side parting. Hollywood glamour at its best!

We’re so excited for awards season and we can’t wait to see what other hair styles we’ll see grace the red carpet this season.
